It’s been commonly voiced by practitioners that “security is a process, not a product”. In my work with rapid-growth startups and larger organizations in transition I’ve certainly found security to be, well, “ever-evolving”. Consider the daily reality for the technology professional - exponential data growth, “hacktivism” at an all-time high, complex data and information privacy laws, and more and more public cloud services to integrate. Oww yeah, and the expectation that users have seamless access to everything they need wherever they are! Fun right?
